Corporate Creativity & Innovation
Creativity. Innovation. These are the secret weapons in an organization's competitive arsenal. In this age of downsizing, overhead reduction and restructuring, a company's ability to rethink and reinvent how they do what they do has never been so vital to corporate success.
Creativity and imagination produce today's most valuable currency – fresh ideas. A company's best ideas for creating or improving products or services come not just from focus group after focus group, but from the keen observations of its key people and their ability to innovate, solve problems and harness creativity. Human imagination is an infinite well of value in the new economy, allowing companies to survive and prosper in fast-changing markets.
Who's Creative? You Are!
If you were ever a child, you have the potential to be creative. Creativity is something that can be liberated and developed. And corporate creativity doesn't stem from hiring more creative people, but rather from creating an environment that allows innovation and creativity to happen.
Day-to-day routines can stifle corporate creativity. Companies often need to inject a healthy dose of fun and laughter into the mix. One of our many half-day or one-day creativity workshops can help management and employees discover their own talents and abilities. By experiencing the open-minded, spontaneous approach of artists, your company or organization can confidently break away from traditional linear thinking.
Our Corporate Creativity Workshops
Since 1998, Beyond the Box has been offering creativity workshops and creativity training to government organizations as well as some of Canada's foremost companies.
All of our creativity workshops are arts-based, allowing you to explore the processes and skills by which artists create unique works of art, music, theatre and literature. Making art transports you to a world of innovation and creativity. Creativity workshop participants learn creative strategies used by artists that can be directly applied to the workplace:
- Keen observation and listening skills
- Flexibility
- Building on the ideas of others
- Stepping beyond the comfort zone
- Combining thoughts and ideas in new ways
- More effective, spontaneous brainstorming
Whether it is in Toronto, Ottawa or across Canada, we can custom design creativity programs - from two-hour creativity workshops to two-day creativity training retreats – for groups from 10 to 400. Contact us to learn more about our creativity programs – workshops & training.
